Transform your family crest, coat of arms, surname, or heritage emblem into a luminous genuine stained-glass heirloom designed to be displayed for generations.
Each commission begins with the artwork you provide. Crest & Crown reviews the design, translates it into a buildable stained-glass composition, and prepares a proof before production. The finished panel is made to order from individually cut glass components assembled into the approved design.
Standard-Complexity Starting Prices
- Small — approx. 10 × 12 in: $995
- Signature — approx. 14 × 18 in: $1,795
- Grand — approx. 18 × 24 in: $2,795
These prices cover a standard-complexity custom crest using selections from our broad premium stained-glass palette. Before fabrication, we review the submitted crest for piece count, cutting difficulty, lettering, specialty materials, framing, and other factors that affect production cost.
Complexity & Specialty Materials
Standard: Base price shown. Designed around larger recognizable heraldic forms and a practical stained-glass piece count.
Detailed: More intricate heraldry, additional pieces, difficult cuts, extensive lettering, or higher fabrication time may require a higher quote.
Masterwork: Highly intricate designs, unusual shapes, painted or etched elements, bevels, jewels, mouth-blown or exceptionally costly glass, extensive framing, or oversized work are quoted individually.
Normal color selection from our premium glass library is included. Rare or exceptionally costly specialty glass may require an additional material charge. Any adjustment is quoted for approval before fabrication begins.
How It Works
- Choose your preferred size.
- Submit your family crest, coat of arms, surname, motto, colors, and reference artwork.
- We review the artwork for stained-glass feasibility, production complexity, and material requirements.
- If the design fits Standard complexity, the displayed price applies. If not, we provide a revised quote before moving forward.
- You receive a digital proof for approval before fabrication.
- After approval, your panel moves into made-to-order production.
Designed for Real Stained Glass
True stained glass is constructed from individual pieces rather than printed as a photographic image. Very small text, gradients, extremely fine heraldic details, and photographic effects may therefore need to be simplified or reinterpreted. Our goal is to preserve the identity, symbolism, color character, and visual presence of your crest while creating a design appropriate for genuine stained-glass construction.
Best For
Family heritage displays, anniversary gifts, weddings, home libraries, studies, offices, genealogy rooms, and multigenerational gifts.
Digital proof included. Final production specifications, lead time, hanging hardware, framing options, and shipping requirements are confirmed as part of the commission process.
Product images are design visualizations showing representative customization, presentation, and design possibilities. Because every commission is individually designed and handcrafted, the final piece will vary according to the customer's crest, approved proof, selected glass, size, and fabrication requirements.
